HEPA Filter for Cleanrooms

Cleanroom Filters

HEPA and ULPA filters are carefully selected and installed to ensure your spaces meet ISO classification standards, starting with the very first particle.

The first line of defense against particulate matter

In a cleanroom, the filter is the central component of air cleanliness control. HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) and ULPA (Ultra-Low Particulate Air) filters are designed to capture airborne particles as small as 0.3 µm and 0.12 µm, respectively, while maintaining efficiency rates greater than 99.97%. The right choice of filter, type, class, airflow rate, and configuration, depends directly on the target ISO classification and the process to be protected.
Consab selects its filters independently of any manufacturer, ensuring that the choice is based solely on your actual technical requirements and not on a predetermined catalog. The filters can be integrated into the filter ceiling, fan filter units (FFUs), laminar flow hoods, or air handling units, depending on your project’s configuration.

Available Options

Filter Types

  • HEPA H13 / H14 — efficiency of ≥ 99.95% to 99.995% for particles ≥ 0.3 µm ;
  • ULPA U15 / U16 / U17 — for ISO Class 4 and stricter classifications;
  • Prefilters (G3 to F9) to extend the service life of final filters.

Integration Configurations

  • 100% Filtration Ceiling (Downward Laminar Airflow);
  • Integration into FFU (Fan Filter Unit);
  • Integration into an air handling unit (AHU);
  • Terminal filtration at the duct outlet.

Service Life and Maintenance

  • Extended service life through proper pre-filtration (up to 10–15 years for HEPA filters);
  • Scheduled replacement based on pressure drop monitoring;
  • ISO 14644-1 certification available after replacement.

ISO compatibility

  • ISO 5 to ISO 8 depending on filter class and installation configuration.
