A pass-through is a transfer device installed in the walls or partitions of a cleanroom to allow objects or materials to be transferred between two zones with different cleanliness levels, without requiring operators to open the main doors or move from one zone to another. This approach drastically reduces the risk of cross-contamination, since an interlock system prevents both doors from being open at the same time.

There are several configurations available depending on the type of opening required: flush-mounted installation in a partition (flush with the wall), installation spanning two walls, or a bell-shaped model on one or both sides. The Consab pass-through is made entirely of stainless steel and can be customized to the exact dimensions of your process.

Flush with the partition (flush with the wall);
Straddling two wall thicknesses;
